Scanning
Graphic design and printing has undergone a revolution over the last decade and we at A & H are proud to have played a part in this revolution. The frequent updating of our computers combined with scanners, image setters and printers enables us to offer quality with a considerable reduction in price.

Constant updating of software gives us the agility for soft imaging, retouching, adding backgrounds and many other image manipulation techniques to give desirable results which have to be seen to be believed.

Digital printing opens up a whole new world for large format /short run printing , speed, quality and economy in colour. For short runs it is no longer necessary to make colour separations and plates or silk screens which results in adding expense. At A & H we can take your Mac or IBM compatible created files and send direct to our digital printers. If you need us to create the file for you our  designers will be more than happy to be of service to you. Our printer handles a size of 52 inches wide by 50 feet long which would cover most sizes you are ever going to need.

We also offer a special tiling facility for larger street hoarding which can go upto 48 sheet posters as easily as an A3/A2/A1/B1/B2 poster.

Mounting and encapsulating (laminating) is also available for these large posters which can be ideal for exhibition panels, point of sale and display materials.

Today's technology allows us to output artwork digitally by our highly experienced repro team, thus offering improvement in quality, speed and efficiency.

A wide range of proofing solutions are available to suit different budgets. To ensure fidelity, proofs are output using software that generates final film or plates, Hi-end colour proofs can be produced as wet proofs. Digital proofs are also available allowing flexibility in pricing to suit your budget.

Heidelberg presses a name synonymous with quality are used, from single colour to 4/5/6 colours in one pass from sizes SRA3, SRA2, SRA1 to B2 Speedmasters, which gives the  flexibility to handle a wide range of work, quickly and efficiently producing a perfect image every time.

Die stamping, foil blocking, continuous stationery, display panel mounting, UV and/or Spot UV varnishing etc. is also available.

We have access to specialist print finishing services which can handle most tasks including cutting, folding, stitching, die cuttings, creasing, perfect binding for books, gluing, sticking, stringing, gloss or matt laminating etc.

In response to rapid changes in the world of electronically transmitted information, we have installed ISDN in addition to our fast modems, fax and telephone connections, which make it possible for you to transmit your files down the line and for us to send you the proofs to peruse in the comfort
